Hello, I’m Grace and I specialise in coaching adults with medically unexplained and stress-related health issues to regain balance, reclaim joy and reinvigorate their health and vitality. If you’re tired of  struggling with symptoms of physical or emotional stress and feel like your surviving rather than thriving then RealFree WellBeing offers a transformative path to freedom and fulfilment. 

I’m passionate about working with individuals who are open to embodying their full potential in the face of mental or physical health challenges, thereby inspiring others and becoming their best selves.

If you’re experiencing chronic pain and fatigue, trauma, attachment disorder, anxiety, addiction, behavioural or mood management issues I can help. Professional Bio: My approach is solution-focused, neurosomatic and combines the cream of ancient eastern wisdom and modern western science. My work is evidence-based and in line with international NICE guidelines for best practice. I am an Occupational Therapist, Hypnotherapist, Life Coach, Mindfulness Teacher, Mind-Body Psychotherapist in training and I have studied NLP, CBT, ACT, NVC (see below for acronyms). I am certified to teach Pain Management Education, the Safe and Sound Protocol and I am trauma-informed. I have over 30 years experience working with optimising people’s wellbeing and I have had my own personal journey with chronic pain and fatigue. 

I am genuinely committed to your transformation. This powerful combination of working with the mind and body (top-down and bottom-up) gives you the best possible results in the least possible time. The approach is holistic and heart-centred but is often referred to as ‘Brain Retraining’ for simplicity. I have witnessed my own and many clients rapid and enduring shifts through Brain Retraining (see testimonials). If you are ready for change, willing and able to engage with the work then I would be honoured to be your guide.

Personal Bio: Originally from the UK, I have called beautiful New Zealand home since August 2021. With two adult sons and a passion for outdoor activities, I embrace the adventure and beauty that this country offers.

From a young age, I have been drawn to understanding the deeper meanings of life and uncovering the keys to health and happiness. My journey has taken me through the realms of psychology, spirituality, health, and various healing modalities, providing me with a rich and diverse perspective on what it means to live well.

I am grateful to now share the most effective and authentic insights I've gained along the way. I believe in a free-spirited lifestyle and strive to help others find their own path to happiness and fulfilment. My goal is to inspire everyone to say, "I'm happy with who I am."

In these programs, we address the fundamental aspects of personal growth and transformation.

Stress, low self-esteem and negative patterns are not inherent traits but learned behaviours that can be changed. Through this approach, we normalise coping strategies and empower individuals to rewire their thought patterns. Leveraging the principles of neuroplasticity and adopting a growth mindset, participants can rediscover their purpose and cultivate a deeper connection with themselves. By befriending their brain and nervous system, individuals embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, ultimately leading to lasting well-being and fulfilment.

6 week course (1.5 hours per week)

  • Designed for individuals struggling with medically unexplained or stress-related health issues. This foundation course gives you all the tools and techniques to get back in control of your health and happiness.

  • You will gain an improved understanding of your condition, enhanced lifestyle management skills, and effective mind-body communication techniques for maximising resilience and resources. 

  • This program is tailored to your specific needs and support and resources are offered between sessions.

Hypnotherapy and Mind-Body Coaching

  • If you are experiencing unresolved trauma (which can mean any experience that was too much for you to process at the time), mood management (anxiety and depression) or behavioural issues (addiction, relationship issues) then this powerful combination of modalities can swiftly and effectively resolve the residual fear and undesired emotions that live on long after the original event(s).

  • With this approach we don’t need to revisit the stories of the past so you don’t need to share anything uncomfortable, we let the body talk and the emotions release so the memories can be intact but benign.

  • This frees you to make creative rather than reactive choices about who and how you want to be in the world. Clients typically report improved wellbeing, self esteem and relationships, as well as giving them the capacity for a more fulfilling life.

Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)

Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)

This revolutionary, relatively new, technology is designed to work with anxiety or trauma-related disorders (such a sensory sensitivity or social communication difficulties) by listening to gentle, filtered music to stimulate the vagus nerve, which plays a key role in regulating stress and relaxation. By calming this nerve, the SSP helps people feel more relaxed and at ease. Thus making it easier for you to interact with others and have more choice in how you focus and manage the distractions of our modern world.

For those that have a spiritual practice or faith and maybe having a dark night of the soul, I can hold the light that reminds you of home and your higher self. 

Also for those who feel stuck or disillusioned with their meditation practice I can guide you to the next level of fulfilment and freedom.

Free masterclass sessions are available if you have a club or special  interest group that you know would benefit from my work. I also offer Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction classes and Embodied Relational Presence Classes (info available on request).
